Rosé Premium from Budureasca is famous in Romania due to its unique taste and freshness, being one of the most popular wines in our entire portfolio. It is a wine meant to be served cold especially in warm seasons. It is not aged and is best enjoyed while it is still young.
To make this wine, the grapes from the Merlot, Pinot Noir and Shiraz varieties were hand-picked from different plots of our vineyards and vinified by light pressing, to extract only their primary aromas, without tannins. The fermentation process at low temperatures gave the wine extra fruity aromas, extremely important for obtaining this top quality rosé. Very versatile, it is excellent served as an aperitif or alongside various dishes.
The trend of recent years shows that rosé wines have had an exponential growth among enthusiasts. The reason is simple – a quality rosé takes elements from both classic types of wine. The result is a liqueur that has the freshness and liveliness of a white wine, but the somewhat bolder and more penetrating flavors of red wines.
At Crama Budureasca, the interweaving of tradition and modernity can be best observed in the case of Premium Rosé wine. A dry wine, with a profile typical of the regions of the Old World, but at the same time refreshing, sweet and aromatic like a New World rosé, produced in wine-growing areas influenced by a more changeable climate.
